Organizers say the museum’s mission is to help children become “thinkers, learners and creators,” through activities that foster imagination and play. In addition to special events throughout the year, the museum’s permanent activities include “Small Town Charm,” which features a hospital, farm-to-table play area, and even a full replica of the city’s courthouse.
