When is a museum not quite a museum? When it’s the Columbia County Children’s aMuse’um, with a mission to create a “fun and engaging place where children can grow, learn and explore.”

The aMuse’um has facets of a traditional museum, like exhibits of interest to children and families, along with a rotating calendar of camps and activities like Slime Club and Jr. Slime Club, along with Messy Mondays and Tinkering Thursday. The schedule changes often, so consult the calendar online. It is conveniently located in the downtown square neighborhood, specifically: 123 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401

What Hours May I Visit?

The aMuse’um is open Monday – Friday*: 9 a.m. – 2. p.m. Thursday 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. It is closed on Sundays

* (11am-2pm every third Saturday)

What Ages Will Most Enjoy a Visit?

Children up to age 8 (and their parents, grandparents and caregivers) are the target audience. All ages are welcome.

Is There an Admission Charge?

Daily admission is $7.99 per child 12 months and older. With each paid child admission, one adult may enter free. Additional adult admissions are $5 each.
