Teeth Whitening at Home with Clinical Strength

Extrinsic stains, yellowing, and dulling occur on our teeth as we age. Just as wrinkles develop on our skin, and hair goes gray,

stained teeth can make someone appear years older. In all areas of appearance, it’s a personal decision as to whether or not one might choose to employ cosmetic processes and procedures to stave off the physical attributes of aging. Regarding your teeth, substantial whitening can take years off of your appearance and enhance your confidence.

Clinical Strength Teeth Whitening at Home

Can you imagine whitening your teeth in the bathtub while you watch a movie, while you’re sleeping, or even while stuck in traffic? Professional grade whitening systems allow you terrific results while still keeping you in control of your treatment times. Impressions are made of your teeth at the dentist office, and then customized trays will be manufactured just for you. Teeth whitening will be achieved by wearing the custom-fitted trays filled with professional level bleaching gel every day for 10 to 14 days. If stains and dulling begin to occur again over time, you can reuse the same trays and just order more gel from your dentist.

What If Whitening Results Don’t Satisfy?

Your teeth are rather porous, so they are quick to absorb stains from tobacco, dark colored foods, and beverages like grape juice, coffee, and red wine, in addition to just dulling with age. Certain medications can also cause something called intrinsic stains that are not usually responsive to whitening treatments. Not everyone is a good candidate for teeth bleaching. If your level of staining does not appear to be bleachable, permanent solutions are available such as cosmetic bonding, porcelain crowns, or porcelain veneers.
